Solar Dryer for Post-Harvest Loss Reduction: Many smallholder farmers lose a large part of their fresh vegetables after harvest because they do not have affordable and reliable ways to preserve them. Having grown up in a community where this is a major challenge, we took a bold step to develop a solar dryer that allows farmers to bring their fresh vegetables to us for drying and preservation.
The solar dryer helps farmers reduce spoilage, extend the shelf life of their produce, and keep more of the value from their harvest. This solution builds on our work with solar water pumps, allowing us to support farmers from production to preservation.
Solar Water Pump for Smallholder Farmers: We provide solar water pumps that help smallholder farmers irrigate their farms using clean and reliable energy, reducing dependence on diesel and petrol pumps and helping farmers improve production.
